The World Gold Council is highlighting Loretta Fontaine as one of fifteen featured designers at the Jewelry Information Center's Annual Editor's Luncheon. The event gathers over 80 editors and reporters from leading fashion and trade media to thank them for their coverage of fine jewelry.

Loretta presented, "Define Your Line", for the Arts Business Institute seminar "Flying High With ABI". Moderator Marilyn Ulen and co-presenters Debra Anderson and Alisha Vincent livened up the early (very early!) morning seminar with a vintage airline theme.

Lark Books Jewelry and Metals editor Marthe Le Van and juror Charon Kransen have chosen Loretta's bracelet "Eva On The Beach" to be published in the book 500 Bracelets: Inspiring Adornments For The Body.

Robert Ebendorf invited Loretta Fontaine to participate with seventy other artists in the museum exhibit "Rings" at the Cannon Gallery of Art and Design in Raleigh, North Carolina. Fontaine submitted the a ring she made especially for the exhibition.

A Special Opportunity Stipend Grant from the New York State Council for the Arts was awarded to Loretta Fontaine in to further her goldsmithing studies with a mentorship under master goldsmith James Stroupe.

Loretta often writes on the arts.
